I love birds. I wish I had one...
Personally, I think that the bird I would be best with would be the budgie. It's pretty intelligent, is very pretty, and doesn't need TOO much attention. (Two or three hours a day?)
I would LOVE an African Grey Parrot but it needs waaaaaaay too much time, plus a large cage, etc. etc. It wouldn't be fair on it if I'm away for work most of the time etc., even if I could afford one!
